RUN BY FARMERS, FOR FARMERS
The Agricultural Bureau of South Australia is a vibrant community of farmers, agricultural enthusiasts and industry professionals all working together to improve agriculture in the state. We are a not-for-profit organisation run by farmers, for farmers, and we are passionate about what we do.
Our roots in South Australia date back to 1888, and we are proud of our long-standing history of serving agriculture in the state. With around 40 active branches scattered throughout the region, our members regularly exchange ideas, discuss farming practices and tackle common challenges.
At the heart of our mission is bridging the gap between scientists and farmers. We believe that working together can achieve more than we ever could alone. That's why we're committed to helping our members connect and collaborate on issues of common interest.
Our Board comprises members with a diverse range of skills, experience and connections across agriculture, regional communities, industry, education and research. Together, the Board provides strategic leadership for the Association, advocates for the interests of South Australian agriculture, and supports the extension of agricultural research, innovation and development through collaboration, projects and industry engagement.
Whether you're a seasoned farmer, an agricultural student or simply someone interested in agriculture, we welcome you to join our community. With your support, we can continue to build a bright future for agriculture in South Australia.
