Our roots in South Australia date back to 1888, and we are proud of our long-standing history of serving agriculture in the state. With around 60 active branches scattered throughout the region, our members regularly exchange ideas, discuss farming practices and tackle common challenges.
At the heart of our mission is bridging the gap between scientists and farmers. We believe that working together can achieve more than we ever could alone. That's why we're committed to helping our members connect and collaborate on issues of common interest.
Our Board comprises representatives from each of the Bureau's regions and members from the Government, agricultural education and research bodies, and other like-minded agricultural organisations. Together, we advocate for the interests of South Australia's farmers to Government and contribute to the extension of agricultural research and development through the management of projects.
Whether you're a seasoned farmer, an agricultural student or simply someone interested in agriculture, we welcome you to join our community. With your support, we can continue to build a bright future for agriculture in South Australia.
