The precision agriculture project has a joint focus on production and resource management progressing sustainable land use and uptake of the latest technology for the best financial and environmental outcomes including.
The focus is on broadacre but could include viticulture. A pilot project was conducted at Coomandook on Mr and Mrs Hansen's property and cross involvement from the Sandy Soils Project. The project will be rolled out over the next 3-4 years, with roll out to five districts in 2006.
