THE Milang Ag Bureau has welcomed their new BBQ trailer after a $14,000 donation from Bendigo Bank branch Fleurieu

Community Bank, allowing them to get the project completed.

The launch of the BBQ trailer was held Wednesday 17 April which coincided with their monthly meeting, which was attended

by Fleurieu Community Bank staff.

Fleurieu Community Bank Chair Ron Logan says the bank has worked tirelessly to give back to the community they love.

“Community Bank Fleurieu is more than just a Bank, we exist for the betterment of Fleurieu communities, as every transaction made through our Community Bank becomes a catalyst for positive social change,” he said.

“In fact, 80 percent of our profits are invested back into the Fleurieu community, with this financial year already totalling

$500k, with $1.6 million invested back into the Fleurieu Peninsula.

“Our message is simple, we need to grow our banking business for our community to share in our Bank’s profit. Our operating model strategy is digital by design, and human when it matters, so our customers can choose how they conduct their business with us.”

The BBQ trailer will be used for meetings and events, which will attract new members and allow social gatherings for the group.
